Rely on a team that understands light, space, and detail
Liaison Outdoor Lighting designs exterior lighting for properties with real detail to work with, luxury homes, waterfront estates, country clubs, hospitality spaces, and homes with strong architectural character. With nearly three decades of outdoor lighting experience behind the work, our team knows how to make a system feel intentional across large landscapes, detailed exteriors, docks, patios, pool areas, and outdoor gathering spaces.
We study the property before we plan a single fixture. That means looking at how people arrive, where they walk, what they see from inside the home, and which architectural details deserve to stand out. Our experts also think through where glare might become an issue and how trees, water, stone, and planting areas will look once light hits them. Every lighting decision serves a purpose, contributing to a design that works as a complete composition rather than a collection of individual fixtures.
The experts behind your new outdoor project
Steve Weber
Founder and CEO
Steve Weber leads Liaison with a practical, systems-focused mindset. Before building it into a multi-location technology and design company, he worked as a general surgeon, a career that demanded precision, quick decisions, and the ability to find the source of a problem fast. He carried that same approach into the custom integration world: understand the system, find the weak point, and build a better process around it.
Steve treats communication as the thing that holds a project together. Custom projects depend on a lot of people staying aligned: clients, designers, builders, electricians, programmers, installers, and service teams, and his leadership is what keeps that organized as the company grows across very different markets. Steve also believes clients should get to experience the difference good design makes, not just hear about it. That thinking shows up in our company’s showroom and training environments, which give clients and teams a clearer way to understand lighting, technology, and project quality before any decisions get made.
Craig Rudasics
Lighting Designer / Project Specifier
Craig Rudasics brings 28 years of custom outdoor lighting experience to Liaison Outdoor Lighting. Since 1996, he has led outdoor lighting projects for high-end homes, luxury estates, waterfront properties, country clubs, and hospitality environments, including large-scale estate work along Lake Michigan’s shoreline and commercial projects for well-known hospitality clients. Craig’s role blends design, specification, project management, and client consultation.
That experience gives our company a strong design foundation. Craig knows how to make exterior lighting feel refined on large properties, practical around outdoor living spaces, and visually balanced across architecture and landscape. He also brings a business background from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, which supports the planning and client communication side of every project.
How your project comes together
Lighting that speaks for itself
Built to last for years
Great outdoor lighting has to look good when the system first turns on, but it also has to keep working for the way you live. We bring the design skills to plan the system and the service structure to support it after installation. That matters on properties with multiple outdoor areas, controls, changing landscapes, water exposure, and different ways people use the space throughout the year. Our team can help with the original design, installation, programming, adjustments, and maintenance, so the same level of care carries through the whole project. For homeowners, that means fewer loose ends. The people who design the system are also there to refine it, maintain it, and help it perform the way it was intended for years to come.
