Every project begins with a conversation, not a quote. We spend real time understanding how a space should feel once the sun goes down, walking the grounds together when we can, or meeting virtually for clients further afield. From there, we study how the architecture converses with its landscape, and let that relationship guide where light falls, where it recedes, and how the property reveals itself in the evening.
Whether we’re designing an environment from nothing or refining the design of a system already in place, we use curated project coordination to keep the original vision intact as the plan moves forward. After sunset, the property takes on a character that settles naturally into its surroundings.

Outdoor lighting design & consulting
A memorable nighttime setting begins with understanding what makes the property distinctive during the day. We translate that character into an illumination concept, using scaled design layouts to shape the relationship between architecture, landscape, outdoor living areas, and the spaces in between. Through project coordination, we stay connected to those choices as the vision moves from paper to property.
Architectural lighting
The right light can bring out what already makes a home distinctive. Entries, columns, stonework, rooflines, walls, and exterior textures respond differently after dark, so the design has to account for how each feature responds once the sun goes down. Professional 2D and 3D renderings give us a way to explore that transformation before the design reaches the property, bringing the interplay of light, shadow, and architectural detail into clearer view.
Landscape lighting
After sunset, trees, gardens, pathways, and planting beds can either disappear or become part of the experience. Layered lighting adds depth while giving the landscape a more welcoming evening presence. Precise field flagging brings the plan onto the property, allowing each proposed location to be refined so the finished composition settles naturally into its surroundings.
Dock & waterfront lighting
Lighting near the water calls for a more subtle touch. Dock, seawall, and waterfront areas need enough visibility for safe movement while keeping glare low to preserve the calm of the setting after sunset. Reflections, changing sightlines, and the transition between land and water all influence how the lighting takes shape. We shape the lighting around the water itself, letting the shoreline emerge after dark without taking anything away from the view that makes the setting special.
